Tomlinson's earlier books include Lessons Learned on Bull Run Road, Southern Comfort, and The Night  Before the Very First Christmas. Tomlinson's radio show "All Things Southern" is heard on 27 stations in 8 states; she appears weekly on KNOE-TV; and she has an inspirational column called "Southern Comfort" in the Monroe News-Star.
